Atlia Learning LLC ("Atlia Learning", "we", "us", or "our") is an online education company incorporated in the United States, with operations serving learners in the United States and the United Kingdom. We operate the website located at atlialearning.com (the "Site") and all associated pages, features, and services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the types of information we may collect from you when you visit our Site, submit an inquiry, book a counselling session, or enroll in one of our programs. It also explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard that information, and the rights available to you with respect to your personal data.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please discontinue your use of the Services.

This Policy applies to information collected through our Site, by email or telephone, or in connection with any promotional or marketing activities conducted by Atlia Learning. It does not apply to information collected by third-party websites or services that may be linked from our Site — we encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties directly.

Third-party websites linked from our Site are not covered by this Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites, and we encourage you to review each site's privacy policy before submitting personal information.

Data Security

We take data security seriously and implement a range of technical, administrative, and organisational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and to comply with our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. The retention periods below are indicative; specific circumstances may require shorter or longer retention.

Opting out of marketing emails: Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out at any time by emailing us at privacy@atlialearning.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe".

International Users

Atlia Learning is headquartered in the United States and primarily serves learners in the United States and the United Kingdom. If you access our Services from outside these countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your home country.

UK and EEA Users: For users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, we process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and applicable national law. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO or European Commission
  • An adequacy decision by the relevant data protection authority
  • The UK-US Data Bridge (where applicable and in force)

US State Privacy Laws: Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), or similar statutes. We honour all legally required rights under applicable state privacy laws. California residents may submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request, though we do not sell personal data as defined by California law.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed at, and are not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18 years. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information from anyone under 18.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@atlialearning.com. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our records.

In the United States, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). In the United Kingdom, we comply with the Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code) to the extent applicable to our Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will:
