FAQs

Questions We Get All the Time

No prior programming experience is required. The program starts with Excel and SQL before introducing Python — and Python is taught from first principles. If you're completely new to coding, we offer a free 2-week pre-program primer. Many of our most successful graduates came from entirely non-technical backgrounds.
We start with Excel because you likely already have some familiarity. SQL is introduced in weeks 3–4, and Python in week 5. By building on familiar foundations, students learn faster and retain more. By the end of the program you'll be fluent in all three — and know when to use each one.
Data Analysts focus on understanding what has happened and communicating insights to business stakeholders — using SQL, BI tools, and Python. Data Scientists build predictive models and require deeper statistics and ML knowledge. This program prepares you for Data Analyst and Analytics Engineer roles. We offer a separate Data Science & AI program for those targeting the ML path.
PCP at $6,000 can be paid in full or via 12-month 0% interest installments at $500/month. PGP at $9,999 can be paid in full or at $833/month. Merit-based partial scholarships are also available — ask your counsellor for details.
Resume review, LinkedIn optimization, mock technical interviews with working analysts and hiring managers, direct referrals to 120+ US and UK hiring partners, and a dedicated career counsellor. Support continues until you receive and accept an offer — we don't stop at graduation.
Expect 15–20 hours per week — live weekend sessions (4–6 hrs) plus project work and assignments (10–14 hrs). 88% of our graduates were employed full-time during the program. The curriculum is designed to be challenging but sustainable alongside a full-time role.
Yes — 7-day no-questions-asked full refund from program start. After 7 days, refund requests are evaluated case-by-case. We are committed to your success and will work with you if circumstances change.
Absolutely. Atlia Learning serves both the US and UK markets. Sessions are scheduled to accommodate both time zones (Saturday morning ET / afternoon BST). Placement support covers leading UK employers including Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, Barclays, Deloitte UK, and PwC UK — all of whom actively recruit data analysts and BI professionals.
